A sneaky mid-week post on something that is too good not to share!
In the coming weeks, months (and years!) I will write a lot about the benefits of meditation and mindfulness practices for our wellbeing - there is TONNES of scientific evidence on the multitude of benefits - from stress reduction and improved cognition to gut health and better sleep.
But we won’t get into all of that today.
Instead, let’s talk Mindful in May.
It’s a global program run by Australian ex-psychiatrist, Dr Elise Bialylew where she brings together the world’s leading researchers and teachers of meditation. Each day there is a new guided meditation you can listen to.
This year, its the 10th-anniversary edition of the program, marking a decade of helping people cultivate inner peace, focus, and resilience through the transformative practice of mindfulness meditation.
I was always going to sign up again, but I did a little internal yipee when I saw that registrations until the 20th were accompanied by allowing me to invite as many friends as I wanted to the program for FREE! So I signed up on the spot!
That’s right, FREE. It is totally not a pyramid scheme or anything untoward. Just good, clean meditation fun. And accountability. We can have a mini Well, well. group of participants to cheer each other on.
More information about the program is here.
And you will get a headstart on the May well, well challenge, which will be daily meditation or just finding a quiet spot for 5-10 mins a day, with no external input (phones, tv, children, pets..).
If you are keen to join this great program together, send an email to alicia.well.well@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram @__well.well by midnight Wednesday 19 May so I can add you to my registration
