Mmmmm. This has been a topic of discussion in our house for a few weeks now. We both take a magnesium supplement daily. But is it enough???? Auch. Adulting is hard. 😂

Thanks for this article.

LOVE that magnesium has been a hot topic! Therapeutic doses of elemental magnesium for health maintenance are 300-400mg daily. Add some super seeds to your supplementing and see if it makes a difference! 💚🌱

I made some more today - it took me 2 mins! Took me longer to find a pen to write on the jar 😂😂

No measuring (no one has time for that😬) just drop a bunch of pumpkin and sunflower seeds in a jar, slightly less flax and chia seeds, and less again of poppy seeds, and voila, done! 🫙🪇🤙

AND it also depends on what type of magnesium you take. Studies have shown that magnesium oxide is better than magnesium citrate for improving intracelular magnesium levels, and total LDL cholesterols in women! And most research shows that magnesium is poorly absorbed on an empty stomach and absorption increases with meals. And for even better absorption - get your magnesium from an effervescent tablet ✌️

Seeds and oats and maybe a fizzy tablet version. I have taken tablets before, but will look out for the fizzy version now that I know it is absorbed better!! Will let you know if I find a good one!
